Well, I count nine nominations already, but I'll go ahead and put my two
cents in on the off chance that several are caught up in a disqualifying
scandal.
My nom:
Planescape: Torment- Credits
(I can provide this if need be, but I'm thinking that need won't be, at
least this time ;))

EDIT: Make that *10* already.

Anybody have any objections to any of these; particularly the top eight?

EDIT:

If anybody happens to have the following tracks on hand...
Kunio-kun Sound Collection: Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari - Track 14
Super Monkey Ball 2 - Story Mode: World 10
Gamer's Guide to Rez - [05] Fear (Rez Edit)
Golden Sun Anthology (GBA Rip) - [17] Kalt Island

Ack, I nearly forgot about this whilst concentrating all of my energies on
the Best RPG Battle Track contest.

Okay, for my first nomination:

The Sword of Xuan Yuan 4 - "Boss F"

The Sword of Xuan Yuan 4 is a Taiwanese RPG, better known as Sword 4 by
fans. The track I nominated is the final boss battle theme from that game.
I don't believe anybody has this track except me... Maybe Wallace but I
haven't seen him around. No track number, too, since this is from a game
"rip."

PichuChan401, where have you been?!

So how long before we start getting links up to music...?
I want to wait one more day to see if anybody has any restriction
violations to point out (e.g., "Song X" isn't very obscure), and so that
anybody who wants to get their nomination in for next week can do so.

I have a nomination edit. I am changing Wild Arms 3, 4-02, A Party as Long
as the Stars Exist (a song I've recently been strangly addicted to but is
just too low key to be my first nomination into SotW) to:

Sonic Spinball - Boss (track number not known)

The way I assume this to be working is that everyone is elegable to make
one new nomination per week and the queue system will work everything out
from there, no? Or, if you already have your name and nod logged in the
queue, are you not eligable for a new entry the next week and have to wait
the week after your song appears in the contest?

Basically, once you get your name on the queue, you can make or edit your
nomination at any time. However, you will only be able to have one
nomination at any given time next your name on the queue. When it reaches
the top eight slots, it will be used for that week. You should be able to
see how it works a little better over the next couple weeks.

On a side note, I meant to have his thread closed as far as nominations
go, just because I was going to leave the nomination queue as is until
next week, but I'll have your change made to the queue in the next
nomination thread.

If it continues to stay this way, you could always skip the vote for this
week; no one's forcing you. But I think you posted this in the wrong

I'm very, very sorry for this. I have another edit. I'm a really
indecisive guy. But, this time, I am completely sure that this will be my
nomination, as I have just recently discovered the absolute greatness that
is:

Phantasy Star Online Songs of RAGOL Odyssey Soundtrack ~Eps 1 & 2~ - 2 07
- Tricktrack Part 2

I was wanting to nominate some Genesis Phantasy Star songs in here
somewhere along the way, this track effectively takes just about everyone
I was consitering and blends theme to perfection. Never in my wildest
dreams did I ever expect a reprise of Secretways to show up, anywhere.

Dr. Usuki theres two versions of that track for PSO

Versus 1 Tricktrack and Tricktrack PART 2.
One is for VR Spaceship when doing the VR Spaceship and such. The other
is for battle mode (hence versus) I would prefer versus tho. Besides
isnt it abit too late for nominations for first week? I got another PSO
song that I think should get some recognition... (hentai tentacle monster
;O)

Yes, it is too late for nominations, which is why the above is a edit to
an existing nomination, not a brand new one.

Anyhow, I've only been so far in PSO, I never reached the episode 2
section or have actually been online with it, so I didn't know the
placement of them in the actual game, and I couldn't quite tell a
difference between the two other than the volume in Part 2 doesn't sound
as muted as the Versus track. So I selected it.

true its abit more muted in the versus track but i like the piano part in
versus than in PART 2.

as for not playing episode II you should really try playing PSO Blue Burst
then.
