Thread Format
- One continuous thread, where posters will both nominate and vote (as well as comment). However, renaming threads to represent events may be an issue.
- I think organisation would therefore be best by forum rather than task. Need to decide who runs the thread at each forum.
- Nominations made at a forum will be transferred to the Nominations Queue, now hosted at SotWiki
- Votes will be archived by user at SotWiki (to avoid repeat votes). Comments archived too?
- Opening post will contain links to both the Voting Central (or whatever we'll call it) and the Nominations Queue
- Cross-forum issues (eg. nomination eligiblility disputes) will take place at SotWiki
- A proposed template can be found at the New thread template page
In The Future
- When GFF (in whatever form) reappears, we'll discuss whether or not to use it, be it as well as other forums or exclusively.
- If many votes/nominations, it might be an idea to create two threads for voting and nominating, and/or to remake threads per week. This might be mandatory depending on forum rules.
